Hindustan Zinc Joins Hands to Rejuvenate Udaipur’s Crocodile Reserve

Hindustan Zinc, a subsidiary of Vedanta, has taken a major step toward wildlife conservation by partnering with the Forest Department of Udaipur to rejuvenate the Baghdarrah Crocodile Conservation Reserve. This initiative, launched on the International Day for Biodiversity, aims to transform the 400-hectare reserve into a thriving habitat for marsh crocodiles. Home to over 200 bird species, the reserve will benefit from this ecological boost under Vedanta’s flagship project, The Animal Care Organization (TACO). The group is also actively involved in ‘Mission Vanraksha’ for the protection of one-horned rhinos in Kaziranga National Park.
