    The arrival of the digital era may have delivered tonnes of benefits. But it has also brought in its own set of challenges. Primary among them being: adding wings to the aspirations of cyber criminals. It is fast expanding its tentacles everywhere and with India being a major turf of smartphone users, the last year saw an unprecedented increase in cyber crime. There were thousands of cases of digital arrest which brought to the fore the growing vulnerability of consumers raising the question mark on our preparedness to deal and curb them. The new bunch of cyber criminals are devising innovative means and controlling them would be easier said than done. With Artificial Intelligence (AI) coming into the play on a larger scale, its misuse may give a further fillip to cyber crime. In this podcast, Ritwik Sinha catches up with Professor Triveni Singh (Former IPS), a leading cyber crime expert in the country, who is credited to have cracked a host of cases and is often referred as Cyber Singham.
